Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-English and half-Spanish woman, was born on April 16th, 1996, in Miami Florida. A half English mixed with Spanish She is the child of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. Her father is an native of Argentina with Scottish as well as English heritage is her mother. Her mother's ancestral lineage is Spanish and English. She was the first born of a household of six children. Four of her siblings are from her previous marriage to Taylor's father. After having lived within Buenos Aires for six years The family moved to Victoria. According to Taylor-Joy the removal was extremely difficult for her and she was unable to study English to the hope of moving back to Argentina. She had to switch schools from Northlands to Hill House. She then went to Queen's Gate School in London, where she took ballet classes as well as participated in drama productions. When she reached the age of 16, Taylor-Joy dropped out to focus her full-time acting career. Taylor-Joy's dream to become an acting star began when she was just a child. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the very first model who hired her as a professional model.
