Rod Wave

Rodarius MarcellGreen[2] (born August 27 28th, 1998) is an American musician and singer. [3][4][5] His strong voice and integration of hip-hop and R&B is what led him to be a pioneer in soul-trap. The track from 2019 "Heart on Ice" went viral through YouTube, TikTok, and reached number 25 on the Billboard Hot 100. Wave's first album Ghetto Gospel (1999) reached the top 10 spot on the US Billboard 200. The second album, Pray 4 Love (2020) peaked at the top of the Billboard 200 at number 2,[99. It included the track "Rags2Riches" which climbed to 12th on the Hot 100. The third album SoulFly (2021) was released at the top of the Billboard 200, marking his first chart-topping single. The Wave's career began in the year 2016 with the release of his mixtape Hunger Games Vol.1. He released several mixtapes independently prior to joining Alamo Records. The mixtape PTSD was released on June 14 on the 14th of June, 2019. It included the song "Heart on Ice". The track went viral across YouTube, TikTok and reached number 25 in the Billboard Hot 100. The debut album of Wave Ghetto Gospel was released on November 1, 2019. It reached the top 10 spot on the US Billboard 200. On April 3, 2020 Rod Wave released his second album, "Pray 4 Love". It debuted at the second spot on the Billboard 200, with a Deluxe edition to follow on August 7. The album was released at the 2nd spot on the Billboard 200, and an enhanced edition following on August 7. [14] On August 11 on the 11th of August in 2020, Wave was included on XXL's 2020 Freshman Class. Wave informed XXL's 2020 Freshman Class in July 2020 that he was working on his third album. It was originally due to be released on August 27, 2020. Two years later, he revealed the track list of the album SoulFly in an interview with the 6th of March in 2021. The album contains songs "Street Runner" and "Tombstone" which is his top-charting single that reached the top 11 on the Hot 100. [18][19] Wave released the song "Nirvana" in late 2021.
